Last year you heard the latest philanthropy news through the New England Philanthropy Digest - made possible through a grant from the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers and published in collaboration with our regional association colleagues in Massachusetts and Connecticut. That grant also allowed us to share your stories with thousands of media outlets around New England and to show the incredible regional impact that philanthropy has in our communities.
In 2009, we have decided to refocus on Maine and the stories that abound here. Especially in these uncertain economic times, we feel it is important to share the information and resources most relevant to you and your work. We will continue to send it out to our state media and legislators to keep them apprised of important issues.
